We use badges (mastery of specific skills), points (effort and engagement), and portfolios (real-world work products). Learners demonstrate competency through exhibitions, not tests.

Core skills are practiced daily using adaptive learning tools that meet each learner at their level. Learners progress at their own pace and earn badges as they master each level.

A multi-week, hands-on project centered around a real-world challenge. Past quests have included starting businesses, producing documentaries, building robots, and writing novels.

A guided conversation where learners explore big ideas by asking and answering questions. No lectures, no "right" answers - just deep thinking and respectful dialogue.

No. We believe learning happens during the school day. Families are encouraged to read together and explore the world, but there is no assigned homework.
